General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, at a period of 8 years, knee replacement surgery would not be responsible for the buttock pain.

I suspect lower spinal nerve root compression or else around the hip joint responsible for buttock pain.

Kindly get a detailed ortho examination with expert, who will guide you for further evaluation with x-ray or MRI which will show the underlying cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
