What Causes Muscle Pain In Arm?

HI, I m 52 yrs old and I think in good shape, about 215lbs, 6 2 tall. My right arm, lower outer muscle/arm has been hurting like crazy off and on for the last month. It s so painful when the pain hits that I cannot even type on a keyboard. Moving my right arm around does no help. The pain is very intense and can last up to 8 hours or more. I take not meds, non drinker, and always pass physical with good results. This pain I have never had until about a month ago and it s getting worse. Any thoughts on what I should do?

Hello,

I have studied your case.
Due to compression of this nerve root there is pain in your arm and fingers pain associated with it.
I will advise you to MRI cervical spine for better diagnosis.

For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
