What causes muscle ache along with itchy and painful blisters on the legs and arms?

My 76 year old friend has painful muscle ache, itchy and very painful blisters especially on backs of upper legs, rear end, torso, arms and hands. Tongue is white. Dermatologist did biopsy of blisters, but it sounds systemic to me. A virus? related to pox? Allergic reaction?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The symptoms seem to be related to internal shingles.
Common symptoms of internal shingles are:
-muscle ache
-itchy and painful blisters

The biopsy that you have already done will confirm the cause and further treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Red raise bumps blisters tiny in size that are itchy and painful. Broke out one night all of a sudden. All over hands severe, face mild, starting to spread to legs and feet. using a cream prescribed by walkin care however, it s not clearing up after two day use. Cream, triamicinolone acetonide. Looked on line to see what kind of rash it could be and omg! It could be as described BE anyone of them! In beginning thought it was cleaning solution I m a cna that I have been using for over a yr because started breaking out shortly after using it but think it s something else. Need to work the whole weekend and worry if it s spreading on me will it spread to residents.

Hey there. So I m getting a spot on the base of my penis that hurts and looks blistering. It has happened three times now in the same exact spot and looks the exact same as before. It sends radiating pains through my thigh muscle as well as through my testicals and in my lower back. I had a doc look before and he diagnosed it as folliculitis. But it s been 5 months since the last time. No signs no warning, just starts feeling irritated then a small bump, then within 24 hours it has blistered up 2-3 times bigger. It stays in the same location, feels the same every time and then it s gone in about 7 days. Doc even said it didn t look at all like herpes and it does not open up into an open soar like herpes. The pain I would explain like a dull radiating pain from the spot and then the pain moves down into my testicals and leg muscle. Any thoughts...?...

I have small clusters of itchy blisters on the webbing of my index, middle, and ring fingers and on the front of said fingers. I have seen cold water makes it itch less while warm or hot water makes it itch a lot. I have no rashes or general pain around that area. The blister are very painful if popped. I have retraced my steps and have had contact with no form of poison Ivy, oak, sumac or anybody else who has. Also it does not seem to spread if I touch it to other parts of my body. I have had this for 1 week and it started between my index and middle fingers but has slowly spread to the areas mentioned before. Finally there are no cuts in the areas mentioned before or after I realized it.
