What Causes Mucus Watery Stool In A Child?

Hello Doctor my child 2 months old she passing frequent mucus watery stool for past 1month.i have been consulted with my doctor he prescribed Z&D suspension along with Immuplus sachet. He said infection in intestinal wall I am continuing all the medicine but no improvement ,she crying always after feeding actually I want to know what is her problem anything serious .pl help me

I really appreciate your concern, if the condition of diarrhea is more than month then stool need to be sent for analysis, otherwise this is nothing to worry because passing of stool 4 to 5 times in this age group may be normal one but hydration need to be taken care, at the most "Lyophilized Lactobacillus" can be tried, in case of infection antibiotic can be given, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
