What Causes Mucus In Stool With A High Pus Cell Count?

Hi, My baby is 5 months old and has a pus cell count og 6, it has been 5 days since the stool test is done and baby is yet to recover, baby passed motion 5 times on the 5th day with little bit of mucus in the stool. Please suggest if it s normal or any precaution needs to be taken. The local doctor has prescribed furoxone five days ago and we have been continuing to feed him the same since then. isohunt, utorrent

Hi, a 5 month child may pass 5 to 6 stools per day or may pass stool once in 4 to 5 days, both these things are normal. Little mucous is also a normal thing. I think that you should not worry about this. Take care.
