What Causes Movement In Stomach When Not Pregnant?
Since about midnight last night I have had a lot of movement (I can feel it but it is also visible from the outside) on the right side of my lower stomach as in right where the baby would be. It feels exactly as it did with both f my boys when they started moving around..but I have taken 2 pregnancy tests and both were negative. I had started to notice an abnormal growth in just the lower part of my stomach..but still not big enough to be carrying a baby..so I m really confused as to what is moving around so much in there... I even considered gas..but this has been going on for 12 hours now..and I am watching my stomach change shapes as this is happening. Pls help!
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Movement in the abdomen can be due to fetal movements in pregnancy, or can be due to excessive bowel movement. If the urine pregnancy test is negative, then the pregnancy is ruled out. I would suggest you to get a ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
