What Causes Mouth Rash, Raised Bumps On Body And Low Grade Fever?

My 4 year old daughter got a rash on the skin surrounding her mouth that appeared as dry crusty red skin at first. It continued to get worse over the next two days. Now she has raised bumps on her knees, elbows, tops of feet, behind the ear, on her neck, and backs of hands. They are itchy. The rash on her face has gotten larger and darker red, with possible oozing. She was feeling fine, but now has a low fever.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms mouth rash, raised bumps on body and low grade fever is because of viral infection. I would suggest you to start with Ibuprofen with fever and body ache. Take diet rich in plenty of fluids. avoid cold carbonated drinks. You should take take multivitamin supplement, containing Vit.C, B complex and magnesium to help with muscle stiffness and fatigue. Your symptoms will resolve in one week. Till then have rest and visit general physician once and get it examined. start with proper course of antiviral drugs after prescription. Avoid spicy food.
