What Causes Mottled Skin With Fever?
I am an RN and a friend of mine just sent me some pics of where she is breaking out.. Her skin looks motteled? Not palpable,, no itching..It's from the neck down. She is just getting over the flu.. And last ran fever this morning (101.1 F).. Any ideas of what it is?

It is possible that the rash is related to a viral exanthem.
This is a rash that can occur along with a viral infection. It would normally resolve along with or soon after the viral illness.
It would be treated symptomatically eg if there is any itching or discomfort, those symptoms would be treated.
