What Causes Mild Vaginal Bleeding Despite Taking Progesterone?

Hi , I am 14 weeks and 3 days pregnant . on 13 week I had bright red bleeding and admitted in hospital but the baby looks fine. Went to check up after a week. Totally fine in scan. We planned to travel in flight but a day before I again start to bled but this time it s mild. Am on my progesterone tablet but stil this happens I can t avoid the flight journey due to visa issues. This is my second pregnancy my first end up in d&c at 11 weeks as no growth after 7 weeks. Aftr two regular periods I got pregnant again. Please let me know the real cause. I don t have any abdominal pain both the time when I bleeded.

dear patient. some mothers suffer bleeding despite having a normal pregnancy. the catch here is the amount per day should not be more than 30-50 ml for it can create distress in the fetus.continue your progesterone pills ,keep yourself hydrated and keep a tab on blood pressure levels.
air travel can be hectic since air pressure changes in the cabin can affect your bleeding pattern.it can either increase or it can also decrease,based on the pressure levels in the cabins. its upto you if you think the visa is more important than your child.since you had a history of fetus with intrauterine growth retardation and death. i highly recommend you to avoid air travel.
