What Causes Mild Pressure In Chest Post Suffering With Grand Mal Seizure?
I suffered a grand mal seizure about a month ago, after staying 4 days and being released from hospital I have had tenderness under my ribcage and around my upper back area and a little pressure in chest. I don t consider it serious but I am a little concerned. What should I be looking for before going overboard and showing up at the ER?
Grand mal epilepsy is a tonic clinic seizure which involves almost all body muscle stiffening or contraction for few seconds.Discomfort in chest or pain might be due to that.No need to show at ER.But if the attack is for first time then u need to be investigated like MRI brain to rule out any possible causes like Worm cysts ,old scars, fresh bleed or clot.U need to take treatment for cause or reason for epilepsy then treat epilepsy.Hope it may help u.
