Hi , i was put on ramipril tablets by my doctor who said that i had high blood pressue. These tablets made me realy ill and after having two weeks off work due to the side effects i went back to my doctors. He said that i needed to double the dose and this would get rid of the side effects that i was having. A day later i recieved a phone call telling me to stop taking the tablets because my blood pressure had been misdiagnosed and the readings were normal. Since i have stoppedtaking them i am feeling ok again apart from a dull pain in the right side of my stomach, could this be down to taking these tablets when not required?
