What Causes Mild Pain On The Right Side Of Abdomen?

Hello,

I have had a mild pain in the right side of my abdomen for a couple months now. The thing is, I only feel the pain when I touch the area. I have had ultrasounds and they said the results are normal. I am still concerned though. What are your ideas on what could be the cause of this pain.
Thanks

Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern.

I would recommend an ECG , if that's normal the Gall stones could be the next likely cause. you can get Liver function tests done to see for any abnormality in consult with your doctor. It could be GERD or dyspepsia
I would empirically recommend a two week course of a
PPI such as Pantoprazole and a pro kinetic
like itopride to see for improvement, if
symptoms persist then an endoscopy may
done in consult with your doctor to rule
out other causes

wishing you best of health

Thanks
