What Causes Migraine With Blisters?

I have been dealing with migraine for about 4 years I am a 30 yr old male. The past 2 weeks or so I have been extremely tired and have been expereincing neck and back pain. Today it feels like someone punched me in my neck and I have a small sore lump on my right side I also appear to be coming down with a fever blister. Any ideas? Possibly just a virus??

Hi,

First of all, migraine has no relation with the blisters. The lump on your right side is either swollen tonsil or swollen sub-mandibular gland. The causes of swollen tonsil are: inflammation in your mouth due to decayed tooth or sore throat. So, you should examine your teeth with a dentist. Moreover, you should do some investigations such as: CBC and fasting blood glucose. If the size of the lump increased with eating, it would be a sub-mandibular swelling and you should examine it with a surgeon. Viral infection does not cause swollen tonsils unless your immune system does not work properly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
