What Causes Mid Stomach Pain With Belching And Burping?

My Daughter has been experiencing gall bladder problems/ symptoms. She has had an endoscopy and a Hida scan. Her tests have all come back normal, including biopsy. Now her Dr. is requesting a CT Scan of her chest and a Colonoscopy be done. The only thing she has been told thus far is she has gastritis, acid reflux, and 2 mm cysts on her gallbladder. She can not eat (has lost 12 lbs.), is constantly having pain in middle of stomach, right side, and leading up to her back. Consistent belching and burping - even when drinking water. Very concerned about her - any suggestions ??

Hi and welcome to HCM. Thanks for the query.
All these symptoms may be caused by severe gastritis gerd or hiatal hernia. She should follow antiacid diet and avoid overeating. Also, she should drink one spoon of olive oil each morning,. avoid sitting after meal, avoid smoking and coffee. Antiacid medications should be taken and in severe cases surgery called Nissen procedure can be done.
