What Causes Metallic Taste In Mouth?

I am currently on 200mg of Sertraline, 10mg of Lisinopril, 200 mg of Metroprolol, trazadone 150mg and Fluticasone propionate 50mcg 4x daily. I have an extreme metallic taste in my mouth and I would like to know if this is common. I would appreciate if you could respond at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time and consideration, Tami

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The metallic taste can be because of the drugs you are taking particularly metaprolol and lisinopril. Nothing to be panic, consult your oral physician and get it evaluated. If required, you can consult your general physician and get the drugs substituted with other drugs. The other possible causes for the metallic taste can be because of the pus discharge in the mouth secondary to the gum or tooth infection. so consult a oral physician and general physician and take opinion.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
