What Causes Menorrhagia With No Cramps And Consistent Blood Flow?

I m seventeen years old and I ve always had a regular period with average blood flow with mimimal to intermidate cramps within the span of 5-6 days. This time around I ve absolutely zero cramps whatsoever, with less than average but consistent blood flow showing no sign of decreasing when I m about to enter day 10 of my period. What s going on with me? Is this something I should be concerned about?

Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like mefenamic acid for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. We have to rule out possible causes like PCOS.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
