What Causes Memory Issues And Difficulty In Concentrating?

Hi, I am 45 yrs old and have noticed lately that I am becoming increasingly forgetful. I have trouble concentrating when someone is talking to me and after the conversation I am not able to recall what was communicated. I am also having difficulty connecting the dots in certain situations. It has started to affect my performance at work.

You are far too young to be suffering from Alzheimer's Disease at first glance and may have some other metabolic or even psychological cause as to your forgetfulness. A good physical examination with appropriate labs will help ferret out the problems which can then, be addressed as needed. Please write to me at: www.bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi with further questions. I would not necessarily order any imaging studies of the brain just yet UNLESS the neurological examination dictated this be done or some other discovered information through history or laboratory findings points compellingly to such studies.
