Hello,
As per my clinical experience, the bumps on anus, prominent after bowel movements do indicate possible hemorrhoids tissue. Hemorrhoid is a benign anal pathological condition due to raised pressure over
anal canal while passing stool and causing anal canal tissue to protrude outside the anus in terms of
soft tissue bulge or mass. The final diagnosis and management is dependent upon the consultant surgeon who may offer you conservative or surgical approach to cure it after thorough clinical examination.
Till that time, following measures will help you at initial relief stage:
- Manage
constipation avoidance with plenty of liquids, high fiber diet with green leafy veg, cereals, pulses, legumes, bulk forming laxative as bran, psyllium
- Avoid all spices, non veg, junk food
- Sitz bath (sitting in tub filled with lukewarm water) 3-4 times a day
- Local application of
Xylocaine jelly (5%) over anal region
- Avoid use of tobacco, alcohol if applicable
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
