What Causes Lump Under Skin On Temple?

I have a small lump under the skin on my temple. You can't see it you can only rub your finger across my temple and feel a small bump. I would say it is about half the size of a pea. It doesn't cause any pain. It makes me very nervous. Could it be a tumor? I've noticed it there for a month. I don't know how long it was there before then.

General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for medical and physical examination. based from your description, it could be a cyst (a sebaceous or a keratinous type), a fibroma or a lipoma. these lesions can occur anywhere in the body and have the tendency to recur. management (medical and surgical) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
