Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a small lump 1-2cm right sided lump towards the rear of my neck. Cervical chain I think. Been in same state for over 3 months with no change or pain. No infections during last year to speak of but I do have ongoing sinus trouble and had Fess surgery 2years ago. I m 34yr old 140lb and 5 6 . Is this cause for concern on probably related to sinus?
- It is possible that your sinus infection could have initially caused the node to enlarge. It can take a few months to get back to normal size. - Do you have dandruff or boils on your scalp? - If this persists, I would suggest you get an ultrasound done followed possibly by an FNAC, where a sample of the node is taken for evaluation. - Have you had any changes in your weight- gain or loss?
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan, General & Family Physician
