What Causes Lump On The Scrotum?

I have a lump on my right side top end of the scrotum. It is red and it pains sometimes. I am 16 years old right now. can it get cured automatically,or i should consult a doctor? I am too embarrassed to tell it to my family. Is is Epididymal cyst ? is it dangerous? i am too worried

Hi.
The red painful lump on the Scrotum can be an infected sebaceous cyst and do not wait due to embarrassment, consult a Surgeon and get treated. You will need medicines to settle the infection first. If this settles - do nothing, if it does not resolve on its own He may ask you to get operated.
