What Causes Lump On Side Of Head For A Baby?
Hi my son was born with a soft lump on the side of his head. It does not bother him in anyway and it is only noticeble through touch. Now he is 18 months and its still there growing with him. It seems to get bigger as he is getting bigger. We raised it with his pediatrician a year ago, but she said not to worry that it was normal..what is this?

swelling present on scalp since birth, possibility of either aterio-venous malformation needs to be considered. Hemangiomas usually do not grow after 1 year of age.
Exact diagnosis can be made by Ultrasound examination.
