What Causes Lump On Roof Of Mouth?

I have a red lump on the roof of my mouth, it kind of looks like a spot that you would get on your face, this is on my right hand side on the roof of my mouth towards the back. i keep on accedently rubbing my tongue along it, and it is becoming very irritable, i does not hurt its just when i rub my tongue along it is when i can feel it.

In My opinion- that lump on roof of mouth could be due to -cyst of the tiny salivary / mucous gland on the roof , may be caused from eating food trauma/ viral infection.
-Plz show it to Dental surgeon and he would treat it accordingly.
Your main worry is for the cancerous lump in the roof of mouth.
-No need to worry as its retention cyst of the salivary glands mostly.
-Hope this would help to resolve your worrysome query on your next visit with your family GP doctor.
