What Causes Lump On Neck With Difficulty In Swallowing?

Hi Doctor, I did some Pilates exercises for about 2 weeks and in the 3rd week I noticed a lump on the lower left side of my neck. The lump itself is not painful but I have some discomfort when swallowing and some pain in my upper and lower throat. I must make mention that about two weeks prior to the Pilates I did have a cold that gave me a sore throat and lost my voice for about a week. I don t know if the events are related.

Hello,

The lump that you have is related to infection that you had a month ago or maybe a problem with your teeth. I suggest doing a blood count.

Usually, it goes by herself. If the lump persists or you have fever or other symptoms take an appointment with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
