What Causes Lump On Jawline?

Hello, I have a lump on my jawline that is hotter than the rest of my body and about the size of a large gumball. What might this be? I was sick with a cold last week and have been stressed this week. I have had acne cysts in the past but this does not feel like it.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have some enlarged submandibular lymphnode or submandibular salivary gland infection. It can be acute or chronic siledenitis. Yu should take a course of antibiotics like amoxiclav or cefadroxil. If it doesn't respond to treatment then biopsy diagnosis is advisable.
Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
