What Causes Lump Behind The Ear?

My son has a pea sized lump behind his ear. The lump looks like it has blood in it but he is afraid to squeeze it as it may not stop bleeding. The doctor gave him anti-biotics but he has now finished these and the lump has not changed. What should he do.

Cause of lump behind ear-
Your son seems to have post-aural Sebaceous /post-aural Dermoid Cyst,as it has not reduced after antibiotics.
So he should consult ER Surgeon,who would fix the diagnosis and would treat the lump accordingly.
This will help you to plan treatment with your doctor.
