What Causes Lump And Pain On Testicle?
I recently found a lump on my left testicle after feeling some pain a couple of days before I went to the doctor yesterday and she prescribed anti biotics and said she doesn t think it s anything to worry about when I see her the lump was soft and not fully formed but today I woke up and it s a lot harder and bigger and is causing more discomfort is this is cyst or something more worrying? And if it is a cyst how long will the anti biotics take to take effect

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Secondary Hydrocele which got bigger and harder today,though you started the treatment few days back
As you said the lump is cystic with water logging in the Tunica Vaginalis.
Other possibilities could be- Spermatocele.
Cause of this Lump -
Could be Epdidymo-orchitis with / or without STD.,which has caused the lax cystic lump in your left testes(Secondary Hydrocele from Orchitis) which later on became bigger and harder.
Other possibility could be Spermatocele,which could be bit posteriorly situated.
Hardnesss and the size increased over last few days time due to the inflammatory exudate in the Sac of the tunica Vaginalis -a testes covering sac.
USG of the Testes would fix these causes to be confirmed by urine micro and blood tests for confirming or ruling out any STD.
