Hello Doctor, I am 29yrs old female. Me and my husband are trying for a baby last 8 months. Nothing happend. So we did a check up with doctor. As per doctors prescription, I am taking 25mcg of Thyroxin tablet for last 1 month. Now I have pain in lower waiste area. Is it because of this medication ? Could you please sugest ?
Increased appetite, weight loss, heat sensitivity, excessive sweating, headache, hyperactivity, nervousness, anxiety are the common side effects of thyroxine medication.
Waist pain may not be related to thyroxine tablets.Other causes such as nutritional deficiencies, renal stones or pelvic causes should be ruled out.Kindly continue the tablet and monitor the thyroid levels every month.Dose adjustments are done based on the results.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
