What Causes Lower Heart Beat?
My daughter s heart rate after childbirth was 32 and the doctors did not know why. She underwent a lot of tests and they told her she had a health heart and that this would go away by itself. It has been two weeks and it is only 40 and she sometimes feels light headed. Have you ever heard of such a case?

Hi.... I see that your daughter might be having congenital heart block. If the mother is having SLE, then this becomes all the most important. I think that your daughter should be worked up for conduction defect in the heart like heart block.
