What Causes Lower Back Pain With Neck Pain?

I just received results of a CT Myelogram which showed disc bulges at L3-4, L4-5 and L5-S1 without significant spinal stenosis or foraminal narrowing. I have been having severe pain in my lower back and R foot. It also showed uncovertebral spurring at C3-4 with foraminal narrowing, bilateral uncovertebral spurring slightly more pronounced on the right with mild to moderate right and mild left foraminal narrowing. At C6-7 there is a diffuse osteophytic bar dorsally with bilateral uncovertebral spurring. This results in moderate right and moderately severe left foraminal narrowing at C6-7. There is also mild spinal stenosis. I am also having significant neck pain. I work as a uniformed law enforcement officer and the gun belt is extremely hard to wear. What does this mean?

Hello,

The low back pain and the neck pain that you have is related to the bulging discs. These are age-related degenerative changes of the spine and are related to poor posture and lack of adequate exercise also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
