What Causes Lower Back Pain, Spotting, Irregular Periods With Yeast Infection History?
Hi! I'm 23 years old And i weight 172lbs and have irregular periods... I've been to the doctor and he simply said that its because I'm overweight. Lately I have been spotting and I have pain in my lower back I've also had like three yiest infections in the last two monts do you have any idea what is wrong with me?
I think that you will need to do a blood sugar test for fasting blood sugar and post prandial blood sugar and a HB1AC test. Also, an ultrasound examination of lower abdomen will be required to rule out polycystic ovarian disease. Start taking anti-fungal tablets itraconazole 200mg for 4 weeks, start dietary restriction. If PCOS is diagnosed you need to start metformin and combined oral contraceptive pills for 3 months.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
