Hello

The patches and swellings on the back of your tongue are due to an infection and will subside once you take the antibiotics for the infection. please meet your doctor for the prescription.Meanwhile you can start gargling with warm salt water and take steam inhalation 3-4 times a day, it will help.
Thanks
