What causes lower back and abdominal pain with brown clot vaginal discharge?

Hi I haven t had a period since December and I have been to the doctors which are sending me for scans to see if I have polycystic ovaries but I have been having strange cravings for months but for the past few weeks I have been having really bad lower back and abdominal pain, but today I have been having really large brownish clots could I be having a miscarriage

Hello,

The symptoms you experienced could be menstrual cramps or miscarriage. Pathological evaluation of the discharged products is required to rule out miscarriage. But this is not warranted. If bleeding/pain worsens, follow up with your ObGyn to undergo a pelvic Ultrasonography.
