What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Bloating After IUI?

hi doc, i had an iui on the 7th and 8th of july 2015. since sunday, the 19th i ve been experiencing lower abdominal pain and excessive bloating. i did a hpt last night, 21/0715 and it was negative. my stomach is still swollen that i feel so pregnant. am scared of going to see my doc in case he tells me am not pregnant.

Hello,

I don't think that you are pregnant because the IUD will be working for 5 years once you put it. The bloating may be related to colon issues, irritation bowel movement or indigestion. Try to avoid foods that cause gas such lentils vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli) and fruits (prune).
