What Causes Low Vitamin D Level While On Vitamin D3 Supplement?
My vitamin D levels are low once again 22.8, I m unable to see what my previous results were. But I have been on Vitamin D3 supplament for about 2 years now. Dr has increased dose the last two visits over the last years, but still below normal. What can be the cause? Calcium is the bottom of normal.

For low vitamin D3 levels, you need to take vitamin D3 supplement 60,000 IU weekly for two months. This needs to be followed by monthly vitamin D supplements and repeat vitamin D testing to assess the serum levels.
