What causes low sperm count?

Hello, I have been having a problem with my testicles. As I did noticed from the age of 14yrs that one of my left testicle is larger than the right testicle. Also my sperm production is very low. I want to know wether the increase in size of testicles can result to any disease and why my sperm production is very low.

Hello

Normally there is difference in size in between two testis.
Low sperm count may be due to many reasons like infection, hormonal imbalance, dysplastic testis, varicocele etc.
Besides clinical assessment you may need investigations like routine hemogram, random blood sugar, hormone assay, ultrasound of scrotum.
Testicular biopsy can be done if needed.
You should do exercise and take nutritious diet.

Get well soon.
Take Care
