I am on Levothyroxine 125 for 4 years (post i-131 therapy for Grave s) and every time I come back from a hiking vacation trip( 1-2 weeks long) my TSh level drops below 0.3 eventhough I keep taking Levothyroxine the same way.Is there an explanation or anyting I can do about it, because I have hyperthyroid sympthoms for quite a while after my trips?

Hello Welcome to HCM Thanks for posting your query.I understand your concerns. Its very unusual that you are getting hyperthyroid symptoms after coming from trip.May be you are missing out a tablet or two or not taking tablets at regular time.
Always take the tablet in empty stomach early in the morning.I your TSH levels are still low, then you need to decrease the dose of the drug to 100.
Hope this helps you.
Thank you
