Thank you,
Management and treatment of kidney cancers have been changed and promoted recently, which may result in a better prognosis for those suffer from kidney cancers.

For example, treatment of renal cell carcinoma can be completed by using new methods of treatments based on sunitinib, bevacizumab, interferon-alpha and diverse methods of immunotherapy after surgery (total or partial nephrectomy). In some renal cancers Interleukin-2 is now recommended.

As you mentioned one useful way to assess the effect of surgery and patient cancer stage is following up the trends of cell count (CBC, Hb, and Urine analysis). In many cases, passing blood in the urine (hematuria either gross or microscopic) might be due to urinary infections, kidney inflammation after surgery, stones, etc.

Regarding my experience and patient history presented by you, I recommend you as follows:

1.     New CT scan/ Sonography / MRI from the region operated under supervision of your urologist and oncologist.
2.     UA and UC tests, routine tests such as CBC, Hb, kidney and liver function tests, etc.
3.     Focusing on your nutrition and using an appropriate nutritional order.
4. Using new methods of treatment after surgery under supervision of your doctors specialized in cancer treatment.

I hope you feel better very soon,

Regards
