What Causes Low Heart Rate?
My husband passed out. Dr tested his heart and decided he needed to wear a Holter monitor. His resting heart rate drops to 37. He is 63 5 10 . 150 lbs. active. He is scheduled for an EKG this coming Momday. I do better knowing what to expect. Can you please tell what could be wrong with his heart and how it could be treated.?

The reason in your husband s case is bradycardia secondary to heart blocks.he should have done holter monitoring and an ecg,2d echo,coronary angiogram and intensive cardiac management to prevent cardiac arrest.thankyou
