Tooks them when I got finish it came back so I was give more antibiotics and a shot in the butt. I went back in after I finished that round of antibotics and was running fever still and not feeling well so I went back in this time they did a chest x-ray and checked me for mono both negative but my white blood cell count was high. I was told to take more antibotics well I finished my antibiotics the day before yesterday and I'm not feeling well again. I'm a 34 year old female not over weight in good health wondering what is going on? I also wake up in the night soaking wet from sweating?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Low grade fever may be due to any infection in the tonsils or pharynx. It is better you take a swab from the pharyngeal wall and sent for culture and sensitivity. Then accordingly you can start the antibiotics. If needed you can get your tonsils removed and sent for biopsy. You can have the antibiotics once the investigations are done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
