What Causes Low Grade Fever If Suffering From Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis?

The drs suspect my child has juvenail rhematoidal arthritis. He is 4 yr. I must now document his temp every hour. Do they compare it against his own normal temp (between 35-36 degrees celcius), which means that if his temp is 37.5, he has slight fever?

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that your child is suffering from juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Doctors records 24 hours temperature to distinguish it from infection such as septic arthritis which has high grade fever while juvenile rheumatoid arthritis is having low grade fever. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
