What causes low grade fever along with fatigue and nausea?

My mother in law is 84 years old and generally in excellent health. For the past 7 days she has experienced wooziness, a low grade fever, fatigue, nausea. She is also experiencing high liver enzymes. She takes blood pressure medication and thyroid medication. Potassium was low. MRIs and ultra sounds of her abdominal area resulted in no unusal findings.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice

Low grade fever could be due to some infection although you have mentioned the temperature reading because low grade fever is a challenge for physicians. It is difficult to diagnose and demands several investigations. If this is not the viral infection, viral infection is self limiting and comes around on its own but bacterial infection may needs specific treatment. Some time culture sensitivity of blood and urine may required.
