What Causes Low Grade Fever After Stopping Steroids For Acoustic Neuroma?

I have been diagonized with Acoustic Neuroma and I have been treated with Steriostatic Radio-surgery. I was on steroids Decdran and Medral for nearly three months. i had stopped steroids some 14 days back. I am suffering from extreme fatigue and low grade evening fever and headache for the last two weeks. Please asvice. Dev

I would like to know wheather you stopped the steroid abruptly or gradually
It is not advisable to stop steroids suddenly.We will have to taper the strength and stop it gradually.Otherwise we will have steroid withdrawal symptoms.
When we give steroids from outside the steroid production in the body will be low and if you stop it abruptly the body will not ready to take care of the need of the body.
Hence consult your physician or Endocrinologist and get a work up.
