What Causes Low Blood Pressure Readings While On Inderal?
I had hight blood pressure and am now taking inderol 20 mil. 3 times a day for depression as I was told it is good for anxiety also and 20 mils of lisinipril once a day. I take my bp at home and am noticing some very low readings. In the vicinity of 95 over 55, 103 0ver 54,79 over 49, 84 over 53 after I take the inderol in the morning. Isn t that too low. I have taken it before the inderol and it is not bad, 121 over 78. What do you think. Thanks, Sharon

Low blood pressure can be a problem with antihypertensives.Slow upward escalation of the dose is needed from the outset.Monitor your blood pressure frequently.Hydrate yourself adequately.Inderol is not associated with low blood pressure.The dose of lisinopril can be reduced to 10 mg a day.This will resolve itself with time.A 2 dimensional echo is needed in all such cases.Consult your cardiologist for further help.
