What Causes Low Blood Pressure After Taking Ramipril?

I have been taken off Ramipril after taking it for 2 months, the side effects of the drug are ruining my life, how long do you think it will take to get out of my system, especially the not wanting to eat, I have lost quite a bit of weight, blood pressure is really low too.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It will take 3 days for the side effects to subside once you stop taking Ramipril. It might take 2 weeks until you get notable changes, especially when it comes to gaining an appetite.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
