What Causes Loud Rumbling In The Stomach?

Hello, i have been experiencing very loud stomach noises. i know it is my food digesting but they ve never been this loud before. it doesn t matter if i eat or not they still happen. also i ve experienced colon rumbling. it happens whenever i eat something, even the smallest thing and it won t go away. it s almost like a rumbling/vibrating and it is very loud and embarrassing and uncomfortable. it helps a little when i pass gas but most of the time i don t even have to. how can i stop this? or what even is this?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

These sounds are due to bowel gas only. Have a walk after your dinner. Do not sleep immediately after eating. Left lateral decubitus position will help you to remove gases naturally. Have food on time and avoid spicy food. If these things doesn't work, then go for USG abdomen and pelvis to rule out any obstruction.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
