What Causes Loss Of Voice, Bad Breath And Snoring?

My 5 year old frequently looses his voice, has extreme bad breath, snoring and will stop breathing for seconds at a time, enlarged tonsils, raspy voice, and some bloody noses. He complains of soarness in throat once in awhile. Had him in to doctor and they gave us allergy medicine, but that did nothing.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The enlarged tonsils are a symptom of tonsillitis which is an infection.

I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Tylenol to relieve the inflammation.

If the symptoms continue, I suggest to use a cycle of antibiotics.

Meanwhile,I suggest giving liquids and rest.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
