What Causes Loss Of Memory Post A Head Injury?

Hi, around 7-8 years ago i had an accident which involved me cracking my head open i cant really remember the incident but ever since my memory has been extremely bad and only recently has it started to get worse could you give me some information about if it is serious and should i go get it checked by my GP?

Retrograde amnesia-not remembering the incident--is one sign of a concussion syndrome but if your memory problem is getting worse this many years out it isn't likely just from the concussion and could be medical like low thyroid or depression.

You do need to talk to your GP about this and get appropriate testing at this point
