Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a fifty-one year old male in good physical condition. I am 5 10 160 lbs.I exercise 5X a week and have noticed a decrease in sex drive and what I would call a erectile dysfunction issue. I recently had a physical which did not indicate any health problems like high blood pressure, diabetes, low testosterone, however I do have an enlarged prostate with a PSA reading of 6.4 I do not have to urinate frequently or get up in the middle of the night to relieve myself. What would you suggest I can do to improve my quality of life in the bedroom??
Do you get proper sleep? Do you stay with your wife? Whats your profession? Do you smoke?
I would like you to try some form of meditation like deep breathing exercises and a brisk walking in the evening if possible. Hope it ll solve your problem. Take care

What Causes Loss Of Libido?
Hi, Erectile dysfunction can be due to various causes degenerative, neurological, traumatic, psychiatric, abnormal thyroid profile. If you have normal b.p,blood sugar and testosterone levels, i would like you to check your thyroid profile and get a proper neurological examination. If you have an enlarged prostate with an elevated PSA level, consult with an urologist. Do you get proper sleep? Do you stay with your wife? Whats your profession? Do you smoke? I would like you to try some form of meditation like deep breathing exercises and a brisk walking in the evening if possible. Hope it ll solve your problem. Take care
