What Causes Loss Of Appetite And Sleeping Problems?

i am 12 years old. im not a very happy girl and i havnt eaten in a few days because im simply not hungry.i also wake up in the middle of the night and cant go back to sleep. i recently lost my best friend in an accedint. why is all of this happening? is it related?
